Die stamping
Once you have a plate which has been produced by either Hand Engraving or the Copper Etching process, it can then be printed using die stamping machines.

Ink is applied to the printing plate and any excess removed from the non-printing areas. The material to be printed on is then forced under incredibly high pressure into the engraved areas of the plate. This combination of ink and embossing gives you the impressive 3 dimensional look and 'feel' to the image.

Many types of card and paper, some having been specially formulated for this process, are available in a wide range of colours, thickness and textures.
